We dedicate this project to our former student and beloved English teacher, Lucy Dee הי"ד whose memory we cherish. In the course "Children's literature" (with Dr. Amy Gelbart), Lucy created an English book about Shabbat. This book is a great example of simple English materials promoting Jewish educational values.
Inspired by Lucy's book, the students of the Haredi English-teaching program "Herzog College-Nevat Israel" created English books rooted in the Jewish tradition and values (in the course "Teaching Creative Texts" with Dr. Shulamit Kopeliovich).
